Math Conections

Allows students and Teachers to share their experiences with math (concepts) and discover the connection between mathematics to their own real world experiences in a way that have sense.

It is divided on two sections:

1.For the teacher: Explain the goals that the students must achieve. (concepts of additions and subtractions)

2. Worksheet for the students:

- Resolve the problem using images.

-Ss use real objects in order to follow instructions and procedures.

-Ss must do it!. Ss turn (think/solve it).

Positive:

-Ss listen to the instructions.

-Ss could develop problem solving skills transferring it on real life situations.

-Have multiply answers. (choice)

-Have pictures and the sign that guide the procedure to follow. (addition)

-Have opportunities to share or work on pairs.

Needs Improvement:

-Use math symbols while the teacher make activities. (associated)

Recommendations:

 
-Be sure that the goal achieve completely practicing with many others activity: On pre-school Ss, we're developing basic math concepts. (using 5 senses)

-On math Ss need to know the signs, concept (realia, experimental) put it on practice.
